HadaBuddy is a free iOS app that scans your skincare products and builds a personalized 7-day AM & PM routine from what you already own. It factors in your skin type, location, and the current season, so your routine stays relevant year-round.
How does the product scanner work?+
Point your camera at any skincare product. HadaBuddy uses on-device text recognition (Apple Vision) to read the label, then matches it against a database of 200,000+ beauty products to pull up ingredients, category, and brand info. No typing or searching required.
Is HadaBuddy free?+
Yes! The free plan includes unlimited product scans, personalized 7-day AM & PM routines, ingredient analysis, and basic conflict detection. HadaBuddy Pro ($3.99/month or $29.99/year) adds unlimited AI Skin Advisor chats, AI-augmented conflict detection, and routine sharing.
How does the AI routine builder work?+
Once you scan your products and set up your skin profile, HadaBuddy's AI analyzes your product ingredients, considers your skin type and local climate, then generates a morning and evening routine for every day of the week, using only the products you already have.
What order should I apply my skincare products?+
The general rule is thinnest to thickest: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, then sunscreen in the morning. But the best order depends on the specific products you own and their active ingredients. HadaBuddy figures this out for you automatically when it builds your routine.
Can HadaBuddy check if my products have harmful ingredients?+
HadaBuddy breaks down every ingredient in your products and flags potential concerns, like fragrances that may irritate sensitive skin, or ingredients that shouldn't be mixed. We don't fear-monger though. We give you the information so you can decide what's right for your skin.
Does HadaBuddy work with K-beauty products?+
Absolutely. Our database includes thousands of Korean beauty products from brands like COSRX, Laneige, Innisfree, Missha, and more. We also support products from Sephora, Ulta, Olive Young, and other major retailers worldwide.
What skin types does HadaBuddy support?+
All of them! Whether your skin is oily, dry, combination, sensitive, or normal, HadaBuddy tailors routines to your specific type. Your skin profile also accounts for concerns like acne, aging, hyperpigmentation, redness, and dehydration.
Is my data private?+

Is HadaBuddy available on Android?+
HadaBuddy is currently available on iOS. An Android version is on our roadmap -- drop your email and we'll notify you when it's ready.
